If you look at it as a bunch of tools each useful for the occasion & with a fantastic blade in a single elegant package, the price is reasonable IMO. It’s best bought to use, I feel - not as just a collectible for knife knerds - & I think it’d make a great gift to the right person.
The scales are made of pear wood apparently, which is as tough as anything. They’re a bit plain for my taste: the olive scales of the Wine Master are stunning, in pictures at least, & would be my choice.
