Hi everyone

Looking for a 6 inch (or around that length) serrated kitchen-style knife for picnics. Must have sheath, preferably of plastic or similar material.

I currently use a Frost knife in a plastic sheath but I want one with a serrated edge.

Thanks in advance.

its gunna be hard to find a knife like that, what about a cold steel land and sea rescue knife, it has a 4 inch blade, its serated and has more utility oriented blade.

yea thanks esav, the first thing i though of was the voyager, but when i checked the site they didnt have any ones with serated pics!! my bad, id go for the voyager because it has more aplications than the land and sea rescue.

I'm generally not much on combo knives but I use a 9" Browning Featherweight Filet knife for outdoor picnics and such and it works out great. The serrated portion is great for cutting lemons, limes, and crusty breads, while the plain edge section is an outstanding slicer for tomatoes, onions, and meats - has 440C steel & comes w/leather sheath. (also available in a 6" version.)
