The big brown stork brought a new present yesterday. A new plain edge RC3. What can I say. It rocks. Sharpest, out of the box knife, I have ever received. The cutting geometry on this knife is outstanding. I can't wait to play. It makes a very nice compliment to my RC4 and Modified TAK. Heading out, and will post some pics when I return. Thanks Mike and Jeff, outstanding product. :D

Nice collection you have! Those TAK handles are niiiiiccceeee! Every time I see an RC3, it just pushes me closer to buying one. I've held one at a gun show yesterday, I was sooo close to buying it.. but not enough $$$!!
 
Thanks T, the TAK was one of my first attempts at a rehandle job. Came out nice for being made from a piece of oak hardwood flooring. :D
 
I'm no expert but the handle on the TAK sure doesn't look like oak to me.

My buddy does hardwood floors and he finds a nice piece of burl every so often. It's Red oak. Came out real nice. You can see I shortened the handle a bit to move the balance onto the first finger. works well. :D
 
Nice finish work on the handle and the knife. It came out nice.
