A long winter and a rough work schedule has killed off most of my play time this spring, including my camping and most of my knife-making:grumpy: Luckily, since I rescued Scout from the shelter last year, I'm required to spend a little time outside for walks and such! Here's a few pics from our dayhikes this month.
A large lichen out north of town, thicker and more textured than normal for the area
The view west of where that was found
And the view southeast
A few days later I found these in a creek bottom here in town-are they Morels?
Yesterday I got out south of town for a quick picnic and spotted this neat looking plant blooming
And a view of the La Sal Mtn. from that area
And a dog that's sure happy to be out playing!
Thanks for looking, hope everybody else is enjoying spring too!
