I went out to a tool dealer out in the sticks a few weeks back but never got photos up due to computer problems. Managed to get a few pics uploaded to photo bucket this morning.

These are the 3 snow & nealley axes I picked up, I paid 5 dollars for all three. The handles I made myself, all 3 are sugar maple. From left to right, 3 pound on 29 3/4 inch handle, 2 3/4 pound on 30 inch handle, and a 2 pound on 26" handle. The 3 pound is very nice, I've been using it a good deal lately.

Also got this Simonds 315 sway back crosscut. This is after filing and a cleaning. These were marketed as combo felling and bucking saws for hard woods. I filed it for both hard and soft woods. Shown with original loop handles.

I like your bucking stand. Great design.

I actually don't use that one much. I made it after watching "alone in the wilderness" modeling after the one Proenneke made. I find it to fall over fairly easy, probably because the legs are at to steep an angle.

Some of the finest axes ever produced in my humble opinion. Especially suited to this Maine timbah!
