I was able to make it to Trackrock and was able to meet Andy, Allan, and Philip from the forge and several guys from the forum! It was a great time. I wasn't able to make the campfire since I had my family in tow, but still had a great time. My oldest two got to forge some knives with Crex and then Andy did some awesome shaping and grinding. The 2 knives were made out of 1 old pipe wrench.

I also picked up an awesome Camp Nessie hand delivered from Andy . . . Doesn't get cooler then that! I will take some pics soon, it's dark now and the pics wouldn't turn out right.

Can't wait to see whatever other pics Tony, Bill, Justen, Bob, and the crew post up.

Thanks Carl and Andy for an awesome weekend!

Hope y'all had a great time! Thanks for sharing.:)

PS: The blades on those pipe wrench knives look pretty sweet!

Hope you all are having fun. Just could not bring things together to get out there from the Midwest.

That is just about as close to a magic trick as I have seen.

Great to see everybody looking healthy and happy.

Awesome guys! Hope to bring my family to this one year. Looks to be a great experience. Thanks for sharing!

I'm really excited about the Roy / Hoffman collaboration. Can't wait to see what comes out of that.

Those arms of his don't look like kids.

True that! The young man is built like a tank. I have no idea what he is like in real life, but on Forged in Fire he seemed to incredibly mature and a VERY skilled blade smith. There are a lot of good craftsmen on that show, but he was one of the most impressive.

So much awesomeness in one place. Some day I hope to make it to one. That one looked epic. Thanks for sharing the pics everyone!

You should have seen him do full body extension swings of that GIANT sledge hammer while Luke held that chunk of steel to the anvil. It was amazing. Blow after blow. Never missed once I saw. One miss would have killed the face of that anvil. Really unreal talented maker.

This trackrock was epic. I'm always grateful to be a part of Carl's weekend. Grinding knives for kids that they have forged is very rewarding. But to also be able to hang out with customer friends from around the globe is above and beyond. It was great meeting Luke. His family is beautiful. Amazing experience. Surrounded by friends. Great weekend.

Finally got my computer to upload my pics. What a great weekend! Special thanks to Carl, Andy, Allen, and Phillip, but also to Bill, Justen, Lucas, Ben, Bob, Scout, Adam, and of course, Rick. Apologies to anyone I forgot. I'm still in Trackrock withdrawal.

Luca pounding steel with Scout.

Phillip showing off his "Chili in a Cup" technique.

Carl's offerings.

My take.

Thank you Bill for giving me the nudge on this one!

Andy said it best. This knife "just makes you want to do bad things."

This one literally melts into your hand.

Took this one just for Mistwalker.

Crex neck knife.

Hey Bill...did I thank you for helping me out with this one yet???
