Ok, had a chance to lay out some of my new JK knives, which are both classic shapes. So here is some info -

Pictured below is 1 fire kit, 2 knives, and 3 sheathes.

Here is the whole enchilada laid out, get a good look -

For everything they have in common, they have just as many differences. I discovered them all, can you?

And then pow, everything flips its shell -

Besides switching sheaths, and patina on 2 of them, I`m confused.

Theres alot in common and different about both sets. On paper they have nearly indentical specs. But the more I look they have alot different.

4" fixed blade knives. But way different blade shapes.

The Nessmuk "group" sports man-made micarta handles (no lanyard hole), the Kephart group has wooden handles (lanyard hole).

There are two Nessmuks in each set. But ones tiny and the other big.

Theres two knives sporting thumb notches. One is a main blade, the other is not.

One set has everything piggybacked on the sheath. One set doesn't.

We can cross the patina off the list :).

These are just some I noticed.

Is it just me or are the last two pics not showing up? I think it is just me.
