I would love to get one of those mayhem knives one of these days. That looks so cool!
The atlas lock Engage is a damn tank. This is the 3.5" blade full size. It's everything you would expect from a top end cold steel. G10, s35vn, nice liners. Awesome. Thick blade stock and not exactly slicey. The Atlas lock is easy to operate and easy to disassemble and clean if needed. the YouTube reviewers crying about the lock placement and other weird odds and ends are just looking for something to complain about while making a review. The thing is awesome and if you use it regularly you will get used to where the lock is located just like any knife.
I had a 3" Engage but gave it away. It just didn't do it for me. Not the same goodness. No liners. Very thin stock. Nylon scales. Probably a great everyday knife for normal people but you know...I'm not normal. I think they make a g10/s35vn with liners 3" one but I've not seen it in person I just had the budget one.
The AD20S is M4 and it's my favorite modern knife. The sharkfoot blade, no thumb studs, g10... It's smooth and snappy. I changed the scales to orange and decided to change the bearings out for new ones because I think this knife is a couple years old. It's smooth as silk. I love this knife.
The two AD20.5 knives are flippy, fun and good quality. The griv-ex is EXCELLENT. I bought g10 scales the same time as the orange one and I actually like the stock scales better. The clip point one came with the aftermarket micarta and it's nice enough. The shark lock on them is just as good as the full size. I don't D2 so I got these in the AUS10 and it's one of my favorite steels for everyday knives. You can beat the absolute hell out of it and it sharpens right back up in a second.
The Shark and Atlas lock are both seriously over built and work very well. I am a fan. Now if we could just get something like 4 or 4.5" it would be great. Like a voyager or recon 1 size.
