While I would like to post a pic of the entire knife, I am not satisified with my lighting. These are only marginal but should help those wondering about the clip and lock on the Mnandi.
Is the blade tang notched to prevent the lock from travelling any farther across? If so, would this cause blade play if the tip of the lock bar gets worn down from frequent opening and closing sessions? Most other's that I've seen allow for lock wear by ramping the tang a bit.
No, there is no notch, I didn't catch that small shadow, but can see how it might be misleading. The lock is very similar to the Sebenza, only thinner and with the inlay covering the lockbar.
I took another shot of the lock with the light coming from a different angle. This one is harsh, but shows the contact area better.
How about a pic from the side with the lock bar. I'm interested in seeing how much of the lock bar is covered by the wood inlay. Does the wood make the lock harder to access?

Edited to add: Never mind. I found a lock-side pic of a Mnandi on True North Knives website. Thanks anyway.
Yea... I'm definately gonna make a pouch/holster type thingy... I WOULD get Mr Graley to do it, but I don't know if I'll astually use it that much... I'll make my own and post a link/pic if I can...who knows... it would have to be slim and sleek... unobtrusive... Well see!
