Keeping with this Monday's theme, this is Gilligan, the Village Movie Model from the birthday special... Really nicely made, I like it a lot. It swings like it's smaller and lighter than it is.
Strangely, I don't find the end terribly good for thrusting. When the blade is parallel to the ground and extended, the point is kind of off center, which is a little disconcerting and distracting. (On the others, a straight thrust with the blade parallel to the ground puts the point right on center.)
Of course thrusting with the blade perpendicular to the ground keeps it on center, but that's really uncomfortable for me. Like everything else, I guess it takes some getting used to.
