A few weeks ago I ordered this knife from Trevor Burger. I told him I would be visiting the south coast of KZN over the easter weekend and that I would stop over at his workshop and collect it. I was lucky enough to get the grand tour and really enjoyed my visit - Trevor was busy preparing fro the Durban Knife Show but still found the time to show me arround and answer all my questions.

Here are some pics. I addeed a few comparing the new LEXK to the old EXK.

Nice, Nice knife. I really like these knives and those are sweet. i want one in a bad way. Thanks for the good pics. Enjoy!!

Thanks for the pics, the Lexk is a great knife. I have one in Carbon Fibre and Damasteel, I absolutely love it, feather lite, and an excellent slicer, perfect EDC, and the size lends itself to defensive use.

Slider817 - I agree with you, the EXK's are excellent slicers. I use my small EXK in the kitchen almost exclusively.

Did you order from the website and have it shipped to NY?

Recently received, LEXK, Damacus Steel, liner Ti, handle carbon fiber.

Thanks to Trevor... i'am very happy!

I'll be on holiday in Trevor's neck of the woods after Christmas next month. I have to admit, my bank manager is a bit nervous...

BTW, those damascus steel knives are something else. Congrats to you guys. Use and enjoy.

Very nice. Congrats and enjoy! Its fantastic to see work from a maker who isn't obsessed with pointless design elements or tacti-fantasy and clearly is concentrating on making a cutting tool.
