I am a little late on posting this up but this was part of my Christmas gift from the wife. Long story short we got a 550blk blem for my father in law and he decided it was too big for him to carry and the wife told me I could keep it :D. Needless to say it was a really nice surprise. I had already ordered the scale though since she wanted me to pick out what I wanted for my non blem 550blk.

Most of you know about the 550 so I wont really go into details on it. The custom scale from RIVAL though is fantastic! I was really looking forward to getting it and when I opened up the mail it went right on my blem and hasnt come out of my pocket other than for use since. It has a great fit/finish and it feels great in hand. This is my first custom scale for any knife and I was surprised at how smooth the edges are in hand. If anyone ever needs any scale work done I would definitely recommend RIVAL. The communication was great with fast service and more than fair prices. I will definitely be ordering more scales from him in the future.

Now I know you all like to see them, so here are the pics:

Yes, those are Transformers in the background. I have always been a fan and I do have a few collectables :p

Yeah I ordered a toxic green/black scale for my 0550 and a carbon fiber scale for my 0560

Nice! I'm probably going to go for a green/black or brown/black for my 560. To be honest I am not a big fan of orange knives. But this orange/black with the black blade just looks wicked.

That knife looks sweet with the black blade:-)

Yes indeed it does. Thanks for the great work man, you'll definitely be hearing back from me again (hopefully sooner rather than later). So far its knocked every other knife out of the EDC rotation.

Why is that?

As a UGA fan I could never carry Gator colors haha. And I was talking about me carrying it. Just realized you may have meant for yourself and in that case it could very well happen! Just clearing up what I meant.

It has yet to leave my pocket. And its gotten several positive comments from non knife folks when I've used it.
