I am close to getting a Caly 3 when I get some extra money here in a week or so and I just want to see some pictures of your guys Caly 3's to feed the addiction and help until I order the knife. And also tell me how much you love or maybe dislike the knife.

What's not to like, CF, ZDP-189, deep pocket carry.

This'll be good, I've had a Caly3 on the list as one of my next spyderco's for a loooong time..

Excellent knife. If I'm limited to carrying a 3" blade, it's my top choice.

I love my G-10/VG-10 Caly3. Little less dressy, but a huge workhorse and VG-10 steel is no slouch either. Plus VG-10 is a lot easier to sharpen than ZDP.

Here are a few pics of a G10 VG10 SE Caly 3 with a G10 Delica for size comparison.

The Caly is a great knife, with riveted solid construction, full liners, nice steel, full flat grind, and a handle shape that allows for several grip options. High marks on ergonomics. The low riding clip makes it almost dissapear in the pocket, which may be an advantage, but also makes swift retrieval a bit more difficult.

I have a large hand and my CF/ZDP Caly3 is a bit small for me. My thumb goes over and past the jimping leaving it to high on the Blade. Its also very thin between liners and my index finger is sucked in(pinched).

It looks better than the Sage, but the Sage has a much wider taller handle that leaves my thumb in correct place and is very comfortable with its wide inside width.

I just ordered the knife a few hours ago after handing off a knife to a friend and him giving me some money, I got it for a fair price I think of about $98 free shipping so it should be here this week sometime right about the time my Dad is going to get his Spyderco Salt 1 PE yellow so we can gawk at our new Spyderco's. Also that friend that I sold the knife to today let me borrow the book "Spyderco: the new shape of sharp" that is a pretty cool book to read. Anyways I can not wait to get the Caly 3 in my hands and keep those pictures and maybe some stories coming. How will I be able to choose from my D2 Para Mili and the Caly 3 oh the dilema.

They've always had the Boye dent. That CF Caly3 the Deacon posted is a one-time custom that Sal sent to him because Paul likes the Boye dent even less than I do (which puts it way into the negatives ;))

Nice Crocodilo hope you enjoy the ZDP version as much as I know that I will enjoy the VG10 version.

It's a very nice folder. I like the choil, it gives the knife potential for very powerful cuts.

Here ya go ...unfortunately the knife found an new home(as a trade for newer ZDP Lum) but it is still is a great knife.
