Sorry for the poor quality pics, but you can get the idea. Blade Tech is making a fixed blade version of their pro hunter. They will use S30V steel. This one has green g-10 scales, but other colors will be available.

I am glad they decided to produce a fixed blade version. All the qualities that make the pro hunter a great knife. It also comes with an excellent kydex sheath w/ tek lok and Blade Techs perma clip. Now I can have fixed and folding perfection.

Its also the perfect size for me to edc.

Not my cup of tea but it looks very well made.

I remember my first experience with the pro hunter design. I was talking to my friend Chris Christman of Top of Texas knives. We were talking about "tactical" edc knives. I am a full time LEO and was looking for yet another knife. He asked if I had considered the Spyderco Wegner design. I replied, "but... isn't that a hunting knife?!". I also thought it was ugly. He insisted that I try one. Not needing much pushing to get another knife I tried one. It was love at first feel. The ergonomics, which I know is a highly indivisualized prospect, were perfect for me. I soon discovered the attributes that made it excel as a hunting knife made it excel in other areas. It makes a great defense knife and general edc. I've been in love every since. Spyderco discontinued them, but thankfully Blade Tech started producing them.

Could you post some specs on the knife like how thick, how long, and all that good stuff? Thanks

It is about the same size as the folder. Using a ruler, so I'm sure this isn't exact, I get:
edge length of 3 1/2"
overall length of 8 1/2"
blade thickness 1/8"
w/ handles 5/16"
