For some strange reason, since I joined this forum (and got my first Busse), I've had these powerful daydreams of going on a primitive camping expedition in Alaska (my favorite place on the planet). I guess these knives give off a vibe that brings out the Neanderthal in me.

I browsed the photo thread and found some fantastic pics of Busse knives in action in AK. I'm hoping there are some more pics out there that haven't been posted yet that folks would be willing to share.

In the interest of giving instead of just receiving (and for those who appreciate AK scenery), here's a pic of some different kind of cutting tools being used in AK...:p

You'll be eaten by a bear. Don't do it. :p

Do not say it brings out the Neanderthal in you but rather it makes you want to become a mans man.

For me I get the 'John Rambo' feeling, just going up into the woods and scrounging about with me BM.

I certainly would react badly if some local Sheriff tried to separate me from her. I call that reaction an infit or infieizure. Had one the other day when the gf told me to stop fondling my HR and come to dinner (yes mum...grumble grumble).

Do you think I can get Jerry to make INFI chainsaw chains and bar for my saw. Cause that would be SWEET! or I could just settle for a 6 pound axe head.

I sent my Mom & Grandmom on an Alaskan cruise many years ago, and she brought back for me a piece of scrimshaw and this poster which she had framed for me Beautiful shot! I've yet to go, so this is as close as I can help ya. these AD's aren't IN Alaska, they're ON Alaska, LOL. :)

Thanks! I was trying to get a good bokeh "quality of the blurred image in the photograph"

I must admit it is hard to tell on the small LCD on back of the camera. The Hogs on this forum have really put the quality of picture to a very high mark!

I've been having powerful daydreams about winning the lottery and moving to alaska to get a college degree :D not because the colleges are better there, just because i'd be in alaska when doing it...

I'll be sure to get some shots for you when I move there next month.:foot:
