I see that too, Andre. Thomas, on the blade with the more deeply ground clip, it appears the scales are grooved. Perhaps a lighting aberration....Kind of hard to tell.

Darn, wish I would've kept mine! I had both a first generation (without clip) and second gen (with clip) BM's. On the bottom one, the handle scales have two sections of grooves between the bolts. Good stuff, I miss those babies!
