A few days ago somone posted about custom scales, i saw that post and replyed that i am currently customising two of the MT LCC's and that i would post some pics of the first LCC i completed. Here are a few pics of the knife before it will be sent out to have the bolsters anodised a purpleish-blue. Then i will post more pics of the knife after it is anodised. Handles are elephant Ivory, bolsters are jeweled.Full filework, and blue liners.

Do you sell custom scales only?

Hey Frank, do you ever do work on fixed blades?

Wow! That looks incredible. I especially like what you did to the bolsters.

The question no one has yet asked... ARE YOU TAKING ORDERS!!! That looks AWESOME! Get the snakewood and ironwood ready, 'cause I'm a callin'

Some really nice work there. Are you taking orders? I'm seriously considering detouring my LCC round (when i finally order one) to get a pair of ironwood or cocobolo scales fitted. I like the look of carbon fibre, just that it feels a little wierd in the hand compared to the warm, grainy feel of fine hardwood.

Well i have gotten many replys since i posted these pics of the LCC in full dress, and to all the people who are asking the big question (or two) here is the run down. Like the Commander that created a sh-- storm of interest when i posted it here a year ago or so, i had gotten too many requests for custom work to the point that i became bored (artisticly) with doing them, and since i do this work full time that can happen, and it will. So i will do just so many, and then stop for a length of time untill i feel up to doing any more. Some of you are asking for retro-fit handles. Some knives i can do that for but not the LCC, because of the contouring near the bolsters and the slanted area between material and bolster i would have to have ea knife here to use the bolsters and orig scales as a reference. I recommend emailing me directly on any inquiries. Frank

Howdy Frank-
I'm gonna swell your head a little here-
**Note to Forum: I recently had Frank do a little work for me & had the chance to see his work area- amazing the work that comes out of a simple, but well equipped work area.
His work-in-progress on a custom Crawford was amazing.
OK Frank- catch you at the Empire meeting- I owe you a few cigarettes.
Cheers,
Mike

Question....The screws for the handle, Are they Spline or Torx? What size are they? And are they easy to remove?

Thanks!
