The subject line says it all. I'm starting to get interested in the DB and would like to see some pictures of the current version DB and the sheath that comes with it...

Check out the Strider SA also its the spear point version of the DB
I had one but sold it, now just got another from Vinnie, and its a beast of a little knife.

Thats funny L.O. Little with a little STRIDER!

The SA or the DB are great knives. I carry mine all the time.

Whats with the tiger stripes on yours? Is that like the black oxide finish you can get? I don't know what it was called.
It looks darker and more defined than my stripes. very cool.

Anyway yeah those are the darker oxide stripes, My new SA with green wrap that I just got Saturday from Vinnie has grey reddish stripes. The stripes are less noticeable on my new SA than my old one. BUT MY OLD STRIDER SA, the one in the pic is on my brother-in-laws LBE in Afganastan right NOW so I needed another one!

p.s. the Strider SA with tan wrap is fitting in well my borther gives me updates on how he has been using the SA in Afganastan, you wouldn't belive some of the things he does with it!

The Strider SA is one very mean BLADE!

It will complement EDC with your AR very well.

There is nothing like carry of a small short strong fixed blade knife SA, or DB or hell any of the STRIDER MODELS are the best!

You've got that right! I've seen and handled a GB. I haven't done so with a DB, but just looking at pictures of the primary edge/tip, it looks like it might work better than a GB. I can't wait to see!
 
Tip strength s excellent in the tanto Striders.

Your set up of carrying the AR and the DB should be perfect the reverse of my carry of the GB and the SA.

I can tell you that tip stregth is way higher with the tanto tips.
