k, these pics were taken at least 1 1/2 years ago,the pictures our underexposed unfortunately, it is of a LUDT:

here is the blade, bead blasted, before starting.

here is the blade with just the swedge polished off with 180 grit paper

here is at a state of satin finish (600grit) next to another satin LUDT I have already done

here is is, mirror polished along with the firing button! (that dirt on the blade is from the scanner, not on the blade)

here is is closed...

and here is my mini socom which i also mirror polished:
