Well, after a week of anticipation it finally arrived. :D :D

Crappy pictures, sorry.

Jungle camo finish and green (standard) linen scales!

Decisions...Decisions :D

I am not sure yet. I'm a horrible one for making quick decisions.

I am thinking of getting a satin finished one for a bushcraft knife as the blade coating would not be suitable for use with a fire steel. Plus, the jungle finish would be wasted if it was used for bushcraft. It begs for some clandestine operations( ). (That and it's an excuse to buy another :D )

I forgot to take pictures of the HOG tag Jamie (Bravado) included with the knife. For this I appologise.

Thanks again Jamie! :D

Congrats on a fine looking blade.

I would have no problems using it, if I felt a need to use it.

If you don't want to carry the EU-17, this would be a great one to carry.

:D:D

Well, we all seem to be in the "Use It" Camp. I am definitely looking to buy a SFNO user, but I want a satin finished one for use with a fire steel and magnum scales if I use it in the winter (large gloves are a must sometimes).

Hey Peter, looks great. How does the handle compare to your eu-17mag? (the regular eu is my only large busse, so i'm curious).

definitely use it.

I find that both handles are very comfortable. The handle on the SFNO is very comfortable and more suited to finer work. When you choke up on the blade and place your index finger in the choil, the blade automatically assumes a *very* sturdy position wouch I would say would be ideal for skinning and delicate tasks. This position also gives a lot of point control so, again this would be favourable for tasks where exactness would be required. If you move your hand back an inch or so, I found that the blade becomes quite blade balenced and would do well as medium chopper. If you move so far back that your last finger ("Busse Pinky" I believe) is right along the rear talon hole, then I imagine a lot of chopping force could be generated for such a medium sized knife.

Obviously, a battle mistress would outperform (in chopping) it but, as Eric Isaacson, when a smaller package is desirable or necessary, this would be a better choice. I would say a SFNO would make a very effective bushcraft knife. I really like both handle patterns.

I hope this helps.

Very nice snag bro!!! :D congrats! :D :D now, hows about something to carry that beast in...... ;) :) :p

If this one is going to be a user, it is going to normark for some concealex but when I get the cash for a meaner street it will be going to you for a some leather. :D

Well, if there was any doubt that we have a mega-hog in the making here, this settles it. At the tender age of 15 Peter has already mastered the art of coming up with a set of circumstances which requires that he buy just one more Busse, a little different from what he already has. :D

Peter, you are now firmly on the road to financial ruin. Enjoy the trip. ;)

ejskle, glad to be able to help. :)
