Pics of my Mistress

Haven't been around much and my collection is definitely not up to HOG status anymore but I just got a new camera (D200) and thought I'd take a few pics and get any feedback to help me become a better photographer. This was taken with the on board flash and diffuser with reflectors (fancy speak for plastic bag and white paper). I plan on getting a separate flash for the hot shoe and am torn between using a constant light or strobe setup. Are there any advantages to either one? Which will in the long run be a better setup? I know that photoflood setups need bulbs more often since they typically have a 6 hour or less lifespan. Any help is appreciated.

**Disclaimer: I know nothing about photography other than what I've learned in the last week cruising the Internet, I hope to get better. If you know of any other photography resources (online or book) please provide. Thanks!**

Although my collection is not what it used to be I know my favorite is the Mistress so I will at least have her till... well forever.

The Ed Brown is my first 1911 and it is an awesome gun, but since this is the Busse forum she has to take a back seat to the Mistress. :D ;)

Those are VERY nice pics, how about some more (and I agree --- that is a beautiful Executive Elite, can we see it's butt?)
