Look what just came in. All I can say is, wow! I have never had a knife come to me this razor sharp out of the box. I tried to shave a couple of hairs and ended up with half of my arm as smooth as a baby's bottom. So far I am very impressed. I have a custom scale coming in later this week that I designed that I think everyone will like. I will post picks when it comes in. Until then, I will be putting this bad boy up for comparison to my Small Inlay Classic Sebenza. I am thinking I have my new edc for a while.

WOW, My Orange 3" Has A Twin !!!.......Congrats on your great score my friend. I am sure you will love it just as I love mine. They are great knives and are built like a tank. I really like the flipper on the 3" and even more is that fact that it serves as a guard. Since I have bigger hands, the guard keeps my hand right in place.

Thanks guys, and yes it is the 3". I noticed an issue with my knife today. Not an issue of quality, just one of "carry" based upon my particular circumstances. I am a lefty that has had to adept to the right handed world, and as such I buy right handed knives. I realized this morning that I can't carry my xm-18 clipped because I end up hitting it with my watch which I wear on my right hand, therefore I think that I will need to carry it in my pocket. I use a calfskin pouch for my Sebenza and I am thinking of using something similar for the xm-18. Does anyone have a pouch suggestion, or should I just carry it naked?

Sorry to hear your new XM-18 is not working out for you. Maybe its a sign you need another kind of folder. Let me know when you're ready for a trade.

BTW, that's a awesome score. Congrats!!

I think that naked with a lanyard will probably be the way to go. In fact, I already ordered one that should go perfectly with the scale that I am having made.

Lol, Seven! I believe that the XM-18 will work out just fine, but I will let you know.:D

I am sure you will like it in the end and end up keeping it. They are very hard to find at a fair price, so make sure you hate it before you let it go.....lol.

I sometimes carry mine clipped to my right front pocket, but 90% pf the time, it just sits in the bottom of my right front pocket......."naked" with the lanyard on. I dont get to carry them too often espically on work days as there are no knives allowed at work.

Here are pics of my 3" with the lanyard on. The lanyard definately adds something to it. Cant wait to see pics of yours with yoru new lanyard. Enjoy !
