Nice shop guys. Don't feel bad Jonesy. I am thinking about hiring a maid. Where can I get one?

Howdy There Guys....!
Didn't you know that a shop that clean is the sign of a sick mind....! I am like Jonesy I am packrat and only have paths to my machines and benches. Looks like a great place to work and I have seen your work..!

I guess it is up to me to clear the air a little. These photos were taken just after we finished the interior of the shop. That is why it is so clean. It does not look like that now. The last time we cleaned the shop was back in August and it took us 3 days to get it looking like the photos.

BTW, Jonesy, The air conditioner went in before we even had the benches built. Here in southern Virginia it is a must have.

Hey guys thanks for posting pictures of your shop. I like that you put good lighting in and with white walls it just gets better. I can't stand not being able to see what I'm doing. I'm guessing that the walls and ceiling are insultated. Smart having a fire extinguisher. Nice set-up!

Andrew,

The building was brought in on the back of a truck and set down onto concrete blocks. It was just support beams and the outer aluminum siding. We insulated the walls on the hottest day of the year and spent 12 hours doing it. It stays cool in the summer and, once the heaters stay on for a while, warm in the winter.
