Pic's of son's hunting trip

Those Gambel quail IG? Always thought I'd like a hunt after several varieties of birds. Do you know if there is a snake problem this time of yr?

They are Mearns. He was in the upper part on AZ. He said that it was only 28 degrees in the morning. So I wouldn't think that the rattlers would be out.
I know he snake breaks all his dogs.:D

My son lives in Tucson and he goes hunting in northeastern part of the state on a Indian Reservation.
If you ever get to Ma. stop by the shop. I will be having hammer-ins in the spring and will starting classes in making danascus and forging.

Whoa! that's a big change, from Mass. to the desert! :-)
I hope it works out for ya George.

Hey, go out there and become a part time quail hunter (BOG) It's like knifemaking, once you start chasing them dogs, all is lost!

He just got the Beneilli 20 gauge last month. I believe it only weights 8#. The wood should be for what he payed for it.:jerkit:Plus he bought a XD(M) .40 cal.

Probably much closer to 6# and a darn fine upland game gun!
