I see the X-42 has the option of TiNi coating...yet I cannot seem to find any pics of this. I would think a gold-colored blade would look really sweet...:)

Hi Warthog,

So, you're looking for pictures of our TiNi coated X-42 blades? You know I can accommodate, don't you? :D

The question is which? The Black TiNi X-42 Recondo (and another image) and the Black TiNi AutoClip.

... Or the even the prototypes of the Rainbow TiNi X-42 AutoClip or the Rainbow TiNi X-42 Recondo. This can be done through BodyCote (if they begin taking individual orders again).

I doubt we'll be heading into any colors on blades besides black, but one never knows.

One of the most stunning prototypes we have here in-house (it'll never, ever go into production) is a standard JetEdge with the blade and all metal parts (screws, clips, etc.) coated in bright, brilliant, gold TiNi. The black carbon fiber handles and the glossy gold all combine to make it look like a "million bucks." Wow!

Excellent:):)

Thanks Ron:)

Now all I have to do is decide between the X-Ray Vision and the X-42 Autoclip:(
;)
I love the blade style of the X-Ray, along with the lock....but I love the black TiNi coating and moreso "fully serrated" style of the X-42. The serrations go all the way until the - if you will - 'second' blade (that tanto part) begins. Whereas on the X-Ray, it's a traditional style partially serrated model where the serrations *only* go on 1/2 of that first part of the blade. If I had a pic on line of the serrated X-42, I'd show you, but you probably know what I'm talking about;):)

wahhh why can't you guys combine them both ;) j/j
