Does anyone have any good pics of a UBE? Or is there anyone with a UBE that would be willing to take some pics and either post them here or email them to me? Interested more in pics of the blade then of the handle but I will take whatever I can get :D. I have the pic from the H.I. site but was looking for one with a bit clearer shot of the fullers. Thanks everyone

edited to add my email address, just remove the nospam part

Mark, I have pics of my UBE on my web site. Direct link to my UBE: HI UBE. Let me know if those are good enough or if you would like me to take some more.

I can't recommend a knife more highly. For the price tag, this is more knife than you will get anywhere. Chops like a khukuri and cuts like a big belly Bowie. Only caveat is that they do lend themselves to a custom sheath. There are plenty of reasonable makers on the forums who will be happy to make one for you though. If Terry Sisco is not taking orders, I recommend leatherman (Dwayne Puckett) from experience. But I'm pretty sure we have a few more in the Cantina.

Danny have you been drinking?...again? ;) How did you know that I had fuzzy ears?

Just kidding. There is a small, small chance that I may come to Japan in November. My brothers Karate teacher is trying to get me to go along on their trip to the home dojo, in...let me check, errrr Kitakyushu-shi. I think that is right. I have become the offical grill cookout person for all Georgia Yoshukai get togethers so I got to know everybody. The Grandmaster has stayed with my brother a couple of years in a row when he was here in Atlanta and I have had the chance to drink a beer or three with him. So I got the nod to come over with everyone. If I can get up the money that is. It has been a dream of mine to go to Japan, always wanted to lose a fight to Masakatsu Funaki at the Korakuen Hall or the Bodokhan. Now I don't think that I will be able to bring the Bull with me (my cat) but I would like to get the chance to met you if possible. Of course I have no idea where I would be in relation to you but who knows right? First I have to get over to that part of the word. Hope that there are alot of swimming pool equipment repairs this summer. Mark

kitakysushu is WAY far south of me.
However, if you go through Tokyo, I will be here.
If you fly into Narita, thats about an hour from here.
If there is a southern airport, then you may be 6 hours away by train!
There are lots of great places to visit down there, lots of great history to touch and see.
