As I am thinking of getting an 0-1 steel fixed blade, does anyone have good pics of well used, but not abused ,ie: maintained 0-1 steel fixed blades? I would like to see what the metal looks like after several years of use.

These are all well used & taken care of 01 blades, although none of them have been used for several years yet.
They were all made by some of the talented makers that hang out here:

Nice bushcraft knives. I like the coloration (patina) they have. Really gives them character and makes a guy want to use them.

Beautiful knives, you have taken much better care of yours than I have.
Still, my 01 blades are special.

if this is a reference to my knives then i thank you kindly. they are all workhorses for me. truthfully i have found even in damp canadian bush that carbon steels such as these require far less maintainance than most ppl assume. once a good patina is developed to protect then whiping them clean and dry after use is the only thing to do. and sharpen as needed as with any knife.

Goatariba is correct in my opinion. Although O1 is widely regarded as among the least corrosion-resistant cutlery steels, it's not THAT hard to keep clean, and as shiny as you choose it to be. If you're interested in the toughness, sharpenability and fine-edge-taking that O1 is known for, by all means go for it.

I'll second this. O1 is one of my favorite steels for many things, including being in the woods!

New on top, old on bottom. I love the patina that O1 develops!
