Looking at my own 630...it doesn't look like the frame lock covers the entire blade tang, like the kershaw vertigo? Is it suppose to? Should I be worried?

I think it would be unusual for the frame lock to cover the entire back of the tang. They are designed to have a little room to move over as the contact areas wear, and also to "wedge in" for a tight lock up. If it was already all he way over, neither would happen, it would get loose much sooner. Here's mine, the 630 is on the left, compared to a Cuda Maxx...

Mine's like that too. That's the way they're supposed to be. As the knife wears the bar will move over and eventually touch the opposing scale. I haven't seen any of my framelocks wear though, so I imagine this will take quite a while. I've found most frame locks are set up so ~50% of the lockbar thickness engages the tang when new.
