I finally have a spidy family, woot! I just picked up the last three today,(added to a BB native and a Spyderfly)- a bad condition harpy for 15, an NIB SS ATR for 110, and an older endura thats been very lightly used for like...35. So first, pics!
The whole group

Onto the harpy...the lockup is good with very little blade play and the handle was scratched up pretty nice, but the worst...the first two serration "groups" were pretty badly dulled (easily viewable flat along edge) and theres a tiny chip out of the plainedge. But for fifteen, works for me! So anyways, I started taking a sharpening stone and going at them to grind it all the way into a plainedge...takin forever...moved up to a de-bristling wheel my dad has on his key making machine, helped more but there is still a little bit of the serrations left and the edge is "wavy". So what advice would you have for grinding down the rest of the edge and removing the chip? I REALLY need a dremel...I have all the bits but no dremel ><
And now, horrible camera phone pics!

Above you can bearly see that the front two serrations are nearly gone.
Below, its easier to see the wavy edge that I cant seem to get rid of.

Even better, all the sharpening equipment I have is a broke in half 3 inch flatstone and two straight rods with parrellel linear grooves. Joy :)
Onto the questions
1. What is this endura worth? I dont really need it nor want it, thought I was getting a delica. It has ATS 55 steel and I dont recall wether that is stock or a sprint run, it looks first or second gen. Note that the there is an EXTRMELY small chip off the tip (easily less than 1/64th inch) which I honed back into a nice tip. Edge is immaculate. Please note that I am NOT trying to sell it here, I simply want a value assesment.
2. Advice on saving my harp? I LOVE the blade style and it just needs some grinding and finish...how much can dremels be had for?
3. On the ATR there is a little tiny flathead screw on the compression lock bar that seems hard to access, what exactly is its function?
4. What is the laser etched symbol on the right side of the blade on the ATR? (opposite the spyder)
5. To top it all off, my harpy has no clip and it seems the screws were broke off inside. I am curious, especially towards STR, as to what I would need to do or pay to get:
The stock holes filled in with something to make em disappear
A new clip made/put on (possibly low rider)
A simple wave made by cutting out the top of the spyderhole
I basically want a halfway decent mini-civie with a decent blade and a wave. Thanks Sal, your knives are seriously the best. Thanks to all for reading this all and for my nooby questions :P
Ive beem bitten by the spider. Its worse than crack.

For the Endura value, in my opinion, it's worth no more than what you paid for it. It's used and has been significantly resharpened to regrind the broken tip. A new Endura 4 can be had for well under $50, so a used ealier model isn't going to go for more than $35.

I would stop grinding away at the Harpy and send it back to Spyderco to see what they can do for you (if it isn't too late). A dremel certainly won't do the heat treat any good. They may be able to take care of the clip problem too.

The symbol engraved on the ATR is Sal's name.

Hope this helps some.

Yay! Thanks a BUNCH for the help. Its opretty wore down, ive basically sanded ALOT of it. Wouldthey even take it, its pretty well past "modified". Fixing it wo0uld prety mich mean flat out replacing the whole knife. I love the harpy but this ones just wow. Thansk for the Endura info, I speculate it in the 30ish range but wasnt sure.
