I really wanted to show you guys how I did my pins, but alas... the only camera I can currently use is a POS. I took 16 pics but only 3 are worth showing you all (and even that is debatable). Unfortunately none are close up pics.
Try to see the pins on the Jag and Cudeman. Also check out my kickass BM68-S I got today and my FHM (both from Susan).
As for the FrankenBali, well it kinda got ruined. I stained the inserts then put them on the knife (epoxy took 24 hours to dry). I wanted to sand the knife with a high grit paper right before I varathaned it so the metal would shine, just leaving the knife out overnight was enough for it to start oxidizing and loose the tiny bit of shine it had. Sanding the metal produced little filings that got on the stained wood and made it look real dirty.
I had to sand the wood, taking off the dirt and the stain. The stain had soaked in so far that I couldn't get it all off. Anyway, in the end it still looks like its dirty. Oh well, it was fun for a sec and I learned a lot about repinning.
Even if it had turned out like I wanted I wouldn't be able to take in good pics of it. :/ Hey, look at you! I'm surprised you read this far.
