Howdy folks,
I've been stalking the exchange for a while looking for a drop point micarta. Well, instead a small spalted beech "spoke" to me and after a perfect transaction with a great BF member, this little beauty showed up today:

The character of a long term "pocket polish" on a PJ is sorta magical, but I'm hoping to get an idea of what to expect aesthetically with a woodie after a good amount of clipped-on EDC use (no-sheath).
I've found some decent threads about carrying and using the wood beauties--like this one http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/...-use-of-a-small-wood-inlayed-sebenza.1163889/ But most are a bit photopenic.
Most photos on here look like amazing collector pieces. Sooo awesome. But I would really appreciate seeing a bunch of well used or even abused woodies, showing me what to expect aesthetically with scratched-up slabs and well handled wood inlays. Maybe the scratches on polished slabs don't show great in photos? Show me whatcha got!
@kidcongo If you've keept using the beauty from your old thread, I'd love to see you chime in.
Thanks BF!
