All black powder coated Tanto 5.5" blade in Aldo's 1084, 3/16" thick, Rockwell 59 with OAL 9 7/8". Handle is 3 strand tight bound cotton cord dyed black with black ito cord impregnated with system 3 epoxy.

A fun build for sure.

Thanks for looking

Man I need to start getting in to powder coating that is beautiful! Great job all around

Very clean. I'd love to see a few more photos of that beautiful "crime scene". Mike

Thank you Adam! Much appreciated. I know photos don't just take and upload themselves.

The in-hand shots always add a nice perspective. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's comforting (maybe, visually appealing is the term I'm looking for) just looking at your knife. Maybe because, to me, it seems like everything is just right - template, proportions, grind lines, handle wrap.... The black powder coat in conjunction with the black handle wrap seems to tie it all together. It looks like you have a slight belly in the blade also? If I'm seeing that correctly, it makes the transition to the tip more natural than I've seen with other Tanto designs. You might have figured out that I like it. Thanks again. Mike
