I was talking to Todd earlier discussing his new design, and what thickness it should be. We decided on 1/8", but I wanted to show how tough this can be. This is a 3/32" blade bearthedog batonned, came back to straight after he pulled it out.

Uh oh - now he will have to consider 3/32"!!!!

You can't hurt JK 01 - unless you go all outdoorsfan on it ;^)

best

I order most of my JK's in 3/32". Best thickness for all around usage IMHO.

It's hard to go wrong with 3/32. I have 3/32, 1/16, 5/32 and 3/16 blades from John. I can't imagine any of them failing.

That pic is a great illustration.

Not the best pic, one handed with my phone, but here's the Viktim. The green bucket on the floor gives you some reference as to how far that is actually bent.

just seeing this John. Thanks for remembering. great pic.

I still think 1/8 is better for a knife that size! Good compromise and still have the extra steel if needed.

Got me wondering, I may have mistaken one of my Jeff White English knives for 3/32, it looks very thin maybe 1/16 , I wonder if the Koyote knives I got are 3/32 and not 1/8, makes me go hmmmmmmmm?!
