Hi all. I'm considering finally purchasing a 0121, but before I pull the trigger, I would like to hear more about the quality of the sheath, how it wears, and some of the configurations it allows.

I have been unsuccessful in finding any pictures of someone wearing the knife, and was wondering if any of you had some, or had some words to share. :)

Thanks,
-Super

The sheath is thermo-molded Kydex and well-made. It comes with a removeable single-position American Systems belt clip that allows only vertical carry orientation as far as I can figure out, but there are probably other clips available. I removed the belt clip because I don't carry the knife (I don't EDC fixed blades...I'm too fat to comfortably wear belt-clipped sheaths :D) but I keep it sheathed in rotation with other knives on my nightstand.

Here's a link to a previous post with a short review and some pictures I took of the knife, sheath, belt clip, and box.

Since seeing your post it got me interested this particular knife, even though I usually like folders, I am a big fan of ZT and my favorite that I hope to get someday is the 0300, which to me this looks like the fixed blade version of (sorta). I have nothing to do with thise website, but I found a good price for one here --> http://www.cutleryshoppe.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=8186

Whadda ya think..?

There is a you tube video of a soldier (or pretend soldier-hard to tell) wearing and playing with one.
It seems like in the sheath it rides quite high on the hip.
However the sheath seems very well made and I imagine that you could easily modify material to make it wear however you wanted.
I keep almost buying this knife -i think it is tremendously well made, I like the shape and features, the only thing is that it is a tiny bit too small, I have wondered about the grip, I do not have massive hands and this seems just sligthtly undersized for some grips, but as damn near perfect as I can imagine.
If you get one please do another review-I am keen to hear more.

For me, the blade is just way way too wide. I really like the knife, size, and have almost bought it myself, but a mandatory choil and a super "squat" blade keep me from justifying the purchase.

If you want to make a tough small self-defense/combat knife, go thick, short, and narrow (width).
