Hey rooikat,
How do you like the handles? I own a couple sables and an aviator and I think they have the most uncomfortable handles around. They should put in finger molds or something. Does it slip out of your hands when sweaty? Seems like they would but I haven't tried mine in the field yet.
I much prefer something like on a Becker or Swamp Rat. Those feel like an extension of your hand.

I really do not have a problem with them. However, i do have a swamprat bog dog with a rubber-type molded handle, and it is quite comfortable. The handle on the witch in the picture is actually micarta, coated with kalgard. It, too, is very comfortable.
I have had reeves for a while, and overall, I do like the design. His work is unique.
my only concern has been cold weather. It has not been a problem with me, but I have read that the metal handles could freeze to your hands.
That would be a bad thing.
In the winter, I often just switch to a different kind of handle, as I have more than my share of knives.
