Well here it is, the new folder design:

The blade has to be bead blasted, the thumb studs have not arrived yet and there are a couple little finishing touches, but her she is :)

Weighs in at 8 1/2 oz. Blade 4"

The finished knife looks great, but I still think George should make one with a 'full length' blade like a Manix. That design would be ideal and unique!

At any rate, beautiful work George. I look forward to seeing on the Tuesday Night coffee night, unless Frank has purchased it before I get there!
 
Finally, this construction method took some getting used to.

The construction is in fact a frame lock with 1/8" titanium liners, an exposed spine with spacers instead of a single back spacer/stop bar and 3/16" blade material. This prototype used 440C.

The result is a knife that locks up like a vault and has no flex at all.

Plans are to rotate several different blade materials like D2, S30V, 19C27, and damasteel to keep things interesting.
