That looks great. It sure beats the heck out of what the factory slapped on there and I`ll bet it`s alot more comfortable to boot.Handle swapping can get addictive.I`ve done 3 since I first got started doing it.I feel like it makes the knife more mine.

Hey Stihl,
Job well done! The wood looks like Kingwood, is it? What did you use to carve the finger grips? The next one you do add a bolster of brass or N.S., and a colored liner. What do you use the bush-wacker for, clearing camp-sites in the Berckshire Mts., or do you travel out of state to the Green or White Mts.? Damn, I miss all three ranges, its rather flat out here in MN. The highest Mt. is only 2600 ft. high, and you can climb it in 20 minutes. No challenge at all.

B.Miller,
Took me about 3 hours to make
Jay Maines,
Thanks alot, its actualy white oak, stained with a blow tourch and oak stain.I gave it 4 coats of poly. The handles were shaped with a dremel sanding wheel.....finger grips too.
I use it at work, camping, all sorts of neat stuff. For 12 bucks this gem is really worth it!
As for camping, yes I do a little.I go to the berckshires.I like the Mowhawk state forst, nice place.Me and the wife also go into upstate NY..."Lake George".We do alot of 4x4ing,so you never know when you`ll need such a tool.
2600ft tall mt.!!Thats it?!?!I take it your from N.E.?You must really miss it then.Ill never move.Wife wants to go to FLORIDA,I want to move to ALASKA.See how we differ?
Well thanks for the reply and take care

Stihl,
I like the handle. I'm pretty impressed with your first attempt at modifing a knife. My first attempt was a disaster!!!
