Someone sent me a ZT-9 for a little custom work. WOW!!!!!! What a beast! I want one for me. Would make a fabulous survival knife.

Anyway, the way it attaches to the AR-15 is pretty genius. But I can't find any pictures of the bayonet mounted on an AR. Can any body post pictures?

Pretty cool What steel does ZT use on the bayonet? The one that I have says M9 Lancay USA. I wonder what steel Lancay uses?

S30V:D This is a real knife, its designed not only to be used as a bayonet, but also as a utility, survival knife:D

Looks very cool and I would jump on it if it was Elmax.Pretty frickin cool thanks

I going to take My M9 outside and give it a good coat of breakfree. Thanks again this thread kind of lit a fire under by but......
Love my ZT's and would like to hold that bayonet in my hands someday....

To mount it on an M4 carbine length you need to use an adapter. You can either use a clamp on bayonet mount that gives you a second bayonet mount positioned further forward or use an adapter like the Tacticool22 that widens your barrel further back so you have your flash hider thickness where the bayonet slips over.

Standard bayonets should fit 20"/rifle length gas systems, 16"/midlength, and 14.5"/carbine length. The only common configuration that doesn't work is 16"/carbine. I'd assume the ZT9 is the same.
