Hi all, I've been a busy bee lately, banging out kydex sheaths and playing with lots of khukuris :) time is short today, so I'll just slap up a bunch of pics, hopefully with captions at the least. The M-43 has been a hard worker and deserves it's own thread though, perhaps tonight or tomorrow.

First up, a couple pics of my brandy new Mini Wajaski. It looked great in Auntie's pictures, but no where was the engraved guard mentioned!

Next we have a sheath for the Tamang. I've since made a "dangler plate," for belt attachment. The knife hangs vertically on my right side, with the handle at the exact same height as my IBBB.

Next we have the beautiful BAS with combo wood/horn handle. This knife feels perfect in hand.

First attempt at a true dangler setup. It works, but I need to shorten the straps up and maybe figure out a pivot.

How I've been doing the plate on the back

And last but not least, the Thamar Dui Chirra sheath I did yesterday. The scabbard had tightened up and wasn't great to use in the field, so this blade hasn't been used since last fall. I'm very happy to get it back out. This pressing came out great. You can feel the fullers in the kydex, and some of the bumps cause a noticeable "click" when the blade is fully sheathed. Don't think this guy needs a retention strap at all.

This was my thumb covered in kydex dust while grinding on the BAS sheath.

Made this for a friend in exchange for some custom glass. It's a little paring knife he EDCs.

And bonus picture of the corn snake on my OP-1 :)

Stay tuned for the next thread with pics of the M-43 new, used, at work, and with it's kydex sheath, and even some pics of the work it's done!

Ok, I feel dumb but I gotta know ya know? What does an OP-1 do. Lots of buttons and dials. Looks like a speaker in the corner. I don't get out much.

You ain't bein dumb ole buddy, it's a fancy music gizmo; a portable music production workstation made by Teenage Engineering. To be exact it's a synthesizer/sequencer/drum-machine/sampler/digital tape recorder/the most fun piece of technology I own. It can even sample right off the radio!! Phillll will know what all that means, but in layman's terms, it's a more powerful music production tool than my computer, and worth quite a few khukuris :)

Here's a song I wrote/preformed/recorded all on the OP-1. There's a sample of a stream I recorded that plays throughout the track, and also 2 samples of one of my other synths that I used. Also there's some live playing of said other synth, called a Septavox by Critter and GuitarI. Kind of a melancholy tune, but I like it a lot.

Beautiful Wajaski Sword! I like the style of sheath you did for the Dui Chirra the best, opinions vary. I think that's the way I'd prefer mine to be carried. I've always been a fan of cross draw especially if seated in a vehicle. I must say the snake is beautiful as well, they're just not my bag.
