Hi guys,

I'm zeroing in on a small fixed blade and the 102 Woodsman is one of the top choices. Unfortunately, I can't find one locally (went to quite a few places this week). So, I would have to buy online. That is not a concern, but I would'nt be able to handle it first to get an idea of the size.

Now, using some Google-Fu, I was able to get plenty of picture of the knife, the knife in the sheath, the knife next to the sheath, the knife being held in the hand and even a picture comparing the 102 to the 110 (which I own). So, I got a pretty good sense of the size of the knife.... But....

My Google-Fu has failed trying to find pictures of the knife while being worn in the sheath while on the belt. That is the final piece to the puzzle to get the whole picture in my mind of the 102.

So, anybody have pictures of their 102 on the belt? It would help me greatly :)

Thanks!

Not sure it will be of much use unless you know the size/height of the person wearing it. The 110 is about 8.5" open. The 102 Woodsman is about 7.75" overall length. You could try, CAREFULLY putting your open 110 in it's sheath with the flap up and figure your 102 would be about 3/4" of an inch shorter. The 102 is a great little blade but it's is actually quite small.

Wasper, here's the comparison of a 102 with a 103 skinner (middle) and the 119 special bowie (top).

Thanks for the idea and I think I have a pretty good idea of the size now, as I've seen many comparison pictures (including the nice comparison from Haebbie above :) ). I'm looking for more of how the sheath sits on the belt. Does it ride high, or low? I figured a few pictures of it on a belt would give me the answer. It's hard to visualize how the sheath sits on a belt, without actually seeing it riding on one. I've bought quite a few holsters for my Ruger .357 over the internet, only to find that the position/ride height doesn't work for me. Now when looking to buy online, I try to research the best I can in order to get the "whole picture" so I at least have a general idea of what to expect
