I've never actually held a Case 6383 Whittler in my hand before, but I THINK I want one. I'm concerned that the thin-ish handle may feel small in my large hands as I plan to actually use it for whittling. I really prefer the chunky feel of a Barlow handle most of all, but I have a Swayback Jack and love the design. So, I would just love to see a side by side comparison, hopefully of all three in the same picture...wouldn't mind a Case 6308 as a fourth comparison, but I'm pretty sure that is definitely too small.
If I had the perfect picture comparison, the first would be a side by side with just the mains fully extended, the second would be with only the secondary fully extended (mini clip on the whittler), and the last picture would have them all 3 laying on their side to show the relative thickness.
I wish there was a good place to go and see these guys in person, but everywhere I go in the Cincinnati area, they are getting rid of their Case knives and not gonna be re-stocking. Sad. If anyone has a whittler they want to part with, don't be shy. I might go back to Barlow shopping as well if I decide I need a better grip.
