I have a large EDC, Benchmade Presidio (Model 520 - Plain Blade) with custom scales by ChaxKnives, a smaller EDC which is a Small Sebenza Classic BG-42 Left Hand, but for when wearing dressy pants I would like a slightly smaller and very attractive gentlemans knife. Given my current experience with the Small Sebenza since 2001, the Left Handed Mnandi sounds like a logical choice since I am already covered with my other EDC needs. Yes, yes, a large Sebenza left handed to replace my Benchmade might happen in the future as well, so don't get too offended I am using that today
I want an inlay option that is made of wood, can take abuse for years and years, it is very stable, has lots of character, color, figure, and just look plain attractive and non-intimidating to even non-knife folks (I unfortunately work with many of these!). From the CR site, the two inlay options that look attractive to me are Cocobolo, Snakewood, and Ironwood. The only other one that looks interesting but it is hard to appretiate from the photo is African Blackwood. Can folks with these please post pictures of these two fine alternatives?
