Any katana or Waki with a full length Tsuka (10" +) and a blade under 25" counts.

Post pics, brand, steel, thoughts on it and price paid if you know it. ... i'm trying to decide on a new Ko Kat, and could use ideas

Thanks!

I'm looking at getting a ko katana with a 22" blade and 11" tsuka with black leather Ito and black same' made from either T10 differentially hardened or 9260 Through Hardened steel. I would like the fittings and saya to be relatively simple, but i'd like to see what everyone else has before i order something myself

Looks like i'll be having a katana made by Huawei swords on Ebay

Another question.

If you could choose between t10 steel Differentially hardened, or 9260 steel through hardened for a blade that will be used in actual combat against humans (think bone, flesh cutting)

I modified a cheness waki SGC into a pseudo ko-katana (9260) steel...it's awesome. I broke it down to the bare blade and chucked the tsuba and hollow wood handle (can't remember the japanese name), etc... doubled the length of the handle tang (shortended the blade length in this process), epoxied and brass pinned a full tang ivory G10 handle onto it and then paracord wrapped it...to make it a real sturdy user. I know it's not as pretty without all the ornamentation (is that a word?), but I turned it into what I wanted it to be...and I'm happy with it. Haven't measured it in awhile, but the blade is probably 18" or so and the handle around 9". I also cut down the sheath (saba?) for the shortened blade length... I plan on making a leather sheath for it with a baldric rig, similar to your AK Chuddy. Here's the only pic I have available:
