It is May so the bamboo is spearing up, as thrown by giant under the ground, thru the lawn again. No problem, I mow it where I don't want it and once you cut the shoot it quits growing that stalk.

Giant Timber bamboo joined by a Buck:

Black bamboo pushes up a black G-10 110! Now that is a green thumb! :D

The NS bolsters seem to have a light within that can't be dimmed even in the middle of this forest:

Thank you for looking.

A few more pics for your amusement. Note the colored liners under the black G-10 scales.

I feel like this knife was made just for me. Thank you kindly Buck. You hit the nail right smack dab on the head.

Oregon, Buck first offered those for the members who attended the 20yr. reunion (July 2008) . Then the left overs were offered to general public . The inside red liner was supposed to show up better . I think only 250 were made and they won't make any more . So, your fortunate to have aquired one . Nice photos . DM

Wow David, you just opened my eyes a little. I have two of those and the liner is so dark that until you mentioned it, I'd never noticed. I had to take one outside and look at it with a magnifying glass to see it.

One of mine is a factory blem, but the only blem I can find is the tiny fb stamped on the blade.

Great photos once again oregon. You have an eye for the artistic!

In case you don't have one, here's a picture of the COA that came with mine. It's also in a black limited edition box.

I wonder what the "Houser001" in the lower left hand corner means?

Plumberdv I like that your blade has the BG42 stamp on it. I bought two of them and neither one has it, but I have the COA with both of them. I wonder how many where made without the BG42 stamp. I know that other people have posted that theirs did not have it either. My spacer is also very dark. HL

Here's a little knife for the SPS.... Any pic of any knife or knives will do... So post a pic... Thanks...

As it got closer to the BCCI event at Buck, I looked for cool things to offer to the members that showed up. I found a tray of 200 bg-42 110 blades and some left over g-10 from one of the Strider knives. Adding a layer of red micarta, the same stuff we use on 119 handles, made the g-10 thick enough to be used as a side for a 110.
This is how it went for several diferent projects and for whatever reason, they put my name on the coa's to help them keep track. It did not make sense to me but then I was not the one keeping track. :)

I dont remember doing any with a standard blade. The ones that did not have bg-42 stamped on them, did they have Designer's choice on them?

I think they did Joe... That's what I4bucks said....

Nice show everyone... Next week put a pic of any knife or knives.... They don't have to be all the same knives... It's a show, for all to share there knives... Old pics or new pics.... It's all up to you.... Till next week have a good one...

Joe both of mine have desiner choice on the back of the blade, with BUCK in script lettering, then custom, then USA, on the front, but no BG42 on the blades. HL
