I would like to see photos of pocket knives at different sharpened angles.
info: photo + the angle you sharpened at (15,16,17,18,19,20,22, etc.) + What steel the knife is.
Only pictures from sharpening devices where you know the exact angle you sharpened at (no guesstimates)

I'd like to see how large certain bevels look at different angles on different knives.
Thanks

1. Sandrin was at 18 degrees for the micro bevel but chipped out badly and did not get very sharp. (BESS of 370)
2. Fulltrack sharpened to 20 degrees. (BESS of 220)
3. Eclipse sharpened to 18.5 degrees. (BESS of 230)
4. Project X sharpened to 20 degrees but left with a toothy course edge. (BESS of 130)

WOW, I never have really looked at the sharpness numbers that closely, but the above data suggest that I am dulling the edge with all that polishing to get a mirror edge.

This is the Eclipse edge angle after sharpening.
