Congrats, Vu. Could you please tell me: is the fourth knife from the top in the first pic a SOCFK or a SPECWAR? It's my Holy Grail! How & where can I found one just like that one? (I've tried to contact Emerson & Extremeoutfitters, no results).
Its a SOCFK. I got it from Extreme Outfitters. According to their website they still have some more. Some combo edge spearpoint SOCFK, and some combo and regular tanto Supers.

if ya are looking for a SOCFK extremeoufitters is the only place to get them new, EKI doesnt sell them. the main diff between the SOCFK and the specwar is that the SOCFK is waved.
if ya want a specwar ya will have to find someone selling one they are disco'd and EKI hasnt had them for a while i wouldnt think.
of the 2 the SOCFK is a lot better knife imho mostly because its waved.
the 2 are very similar though.

Does anyone know if the CQC11 is any worse than the CQC8? It just seems to me that the CQC8 gets a lot more attention...I'd like to get an emerson soon but haven't been able to choose between those two. Also does anyone know if the rapid deployment sheaths avaiable from emerson work wiht knives they aren't listed for?
I can't speak to the '8 or the Rapid Deployment Sheaths (RDS), although I'd like to get some info on the RDS myself.
I just picked up an '11 and it is LARGE. The handle is right around 5.5" and the blade is around 4.0" (4.1" IIRC). The blade is hefty. The ergos are great. That combined with a good balance between blade and handle make it feel good in my hand. If you want a large folder, this is one to consider. I also have a '10 with a 4.9" handle and 3.7" blade (H&K model) that gets most of the EDC duty.
Top to bottom: CQC-11, CQC-10, Mini-Commander

between a '11 and an '8 i would go with the '8, also like the '12 a lot or if ya want something cheaper try a '13.
why? imho the '8 handle fits my hand better than a '11 handle, i also like the blade shape more, like the '12 because of the lock and its blade shape and like the '13 the blades a lot like the '12 but its a liner lock thus a little less expensive.
