My XLarge Espada came today and it is insane. I knew it was big from the pix but until I saw it in person.......I have a Large Espada but it is dwarfed by the XL. It is surprisingly light for its size and the handle is very well thought out for the size of the knife. You can grip it low like a machete or closer up with the design like a bowie, very clever. I am use to large knives owning Trailmasters, machetes, Magnum Tanto XII etc but this takes the cake and it is a folder. A nice looking knife and even a nice shiny finish on the blade of CTS XHP. Definitely not for most people but looking at it I smile and shake my head so its a keeper, I think I have some pants that I can carry it sometimes(my need a new belt though).

I've always wanted to try out the large model but that extra large is fregg'in huge. You could chop down a big tree with that beast, better find some really big boy pants for that one.

I had the same reaction upon getting my G10 version of the XL. You just kind of sit there in disbelief at the actual size of the thing. A true pocket sword.
