Pictures from Bowie's hammer-in

Those were great to see. Thanks!

With a fresh coat of paint on the shop and that new slab, looks like it must be pretty spiffy now. :)

Great photos. Thanks for sharing and thanks for not posting a pic of me completely missing the dang can in the cutting contest. (although I almost severed the 2X4 it was sitting on:D )

I thought I had a good thing going there......... Reasonable time through the 2X4.......... Nice even slice through the hanging rope.............. Missed the damned can completely:o ......... Its rough getting old. You start going "blind", "cripple", and "crazy".

Had loads of fun anyway.

Tracy Dotson from Florida won the competition (With sunglasses about to cut the bottles) and Bill Wiggins from NC came in second (Big guy cutting the can).

Two super nice folks who make some beautiful knives (sharp too).

That is not Bowie on the right in the second pic. Altho Bowie is a grey haired old fart. He is a different grey haired old fart. My appologies to the gentelman in the pic. I heard the camera would not work when shined on Bowie.

Here is a shot of Bowie in his younger days. This pic was taken with a special BS filter over the lense.

That is indeed Bowie in a deep discussion with Wild-Bill Wiggins. Thankfully it is not a straight forward face shot. That expensive camera would have broken for sure.

He told me me he was going to have his head shaved and have the map of the world tattooed on it. That's why I figured that could not possibly be him. Oh wait...you don't think he could have "kidding" about the tattoo do ya? Where is my receipt for this BS meter?

Roosko is right that is Bowie. A thinner than before Bowie. I did take an almost head on picture and thankfully the camera wasn’t damaged permanently, although it refused to focus properly for several shots afterwards.
