  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I was at the Cabelas at Dallas Pike, WV yesterday and I looked at the military and it is much more significant a knife than the pictures indicate. I am impressed.

If I didn't work in an office, I would carry mine more (a lefty and a Cruwear :))

I was skeptical at first and thought it would be too big, but the Military is light for it's size, feels great in hand, and carries very well, imo.

I'm fortunate that I can carry my Military to my office, I just have to be careful where I use it.

To the OP- other impressive Spydercos would be the Vallotton and Manix 2 XL.

I have a Safety Orange Military I used to carry at my last job....carried well, and never scared people. Orange = Safety! :D

I never thought i would like the vallotton/ never payed much attention to it. but I was gifted one from my buddy for christmas as we got eachother knives and i fell in love with it. Everything is perfect from the grinds and polised g10 to the amazingly smooth action. Ive never heard of a tank that is disguised as a gentlemans folder but the Vallotton it it. You really have to feel it to appreciate it.

You have to have one in hand to be able to really appreciate how well made they are, the pivot action on mine is so smooth you would think it rolled on bearings.

I have not yet seen this wonder you speak of....Google now!

Here you go. ;)

Agree with what it has been said.... steel preference is a luxury. The Military is exceptional. I can tell you is my cheapest knife and on of my favorites!

When I worked an office job my orange sprint Military was approved by all......never had a complaint. But the camo one I had got complaints, go figure.

Mine is my first, most used and loved spyderco.

Matter of fact I just put my Gayle Bradley up for sale to fund another military :)
