Pictures not posting

Why will some of my pictures show up and others will not? I use the same image hosting site, the same codes, etc., yet only half or so of my pictures show up. It’s a bit frustrating.

I have had the same issue occurring in the past few months intermittently. I use IMGBB for hosting, and then I copy the BBCode medium linked codes directly into the post. When I post, most of the time at least one or two pictures shows as a red X both to me and to other viewers, despite the facts that they were uploaded to the same image host site, that the links to the images were copied over at the same time and that the other images do in fact display properly.

Here is a sale thread for an example with two pictures nonfunctioning for no reason I can tell.

Now, a doubly interesting thing is that if I go into post edit mode, the pictures that showed as red Xs become visible to me. I have tried re-uploading and re-linking the photos with the same results. I am curious if other users are having issues with this with other image hosting sites, which to me would indicate that it's a Bladeforums problem and not a file host problem.

Exactly this. This is the same problem I’m talking about.

I’ve wondered the same thing, or if it’s just the one we are using. I just don’t understand why some pictures aren’t loading when the process is the same each time. It makes no sense to me.
